EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK

Do you need a document that covers the daily questions that come up pertaining to your employees?  The Employee Handbook is easy to customize and will be ready to distribute just days after you receive the CD! Our Employee Handbook has been reviewed by an employment law attorney and is directed toward all employees including management, leasing, maintenance, grounds, housekeeping, etc. The information is divided into ten sections that make for easy reading by new and existing employees. Information includes:

Employment and Performance – Covers management rights, hiring/rehiring/testing, nepotism, performance guidelines, reviews, hours of work, employment classifications, attendance, termination, disciplinary guidelines, and grievance procedures.

Personal Conduct – Includes substance abuse, dress code, smoking, sexual and other unlawful harassment, solicitations & distributions.

Time Away From Work – Contains policies for vacation, sick, holiday, as well as military and family medical leave. Policies for jury duty, time off to vote and bereavement leave are included.

Company Premises and Work Areas – Includes policies for use of company property and equipment, electronic systems, safety in the workplace, and handling hazardous chemicals.

Some of the other policies included in the Employee Handbook detail payroll procedures and recording of time worked, living on-site, transfers, leasing bonuses, tuition assistance, and employee benefits.

Once you have copied the CD data onto your hard drive, you may make changes as you would with any other Word document and copy for each of your apartment communities.
